GlucorellR {R+ ALA} and First PWO Meal

GLA is not a "supposed to" supp, but it is a nice addition to glucorell. it should be either taken with meals or the big bolus (6g) at night before bed--- as to which is more effective.. not really clear.. try it both ways.. see what works best for you

the benefits of high insulin are: increased water retention, increased fat gain.- their may be some beneficial increase in igf-1 however that is likely at least somewhat offset by GH inhibition (inuslin effect)

no.. because insulin is not all that anabolic (except to fat, organs (fat and some other tissue types- through igf.)

boy, you just make me wanna run right out get me some of this insulin stuff! :silly:

as was intended :p

IMHO the only people that really benefit (benefit in a bodybuilding sense.. as from a health standpoint. NO ONE benefits from High exogenous slin) from slin use are those that inherently store high levels of IM fat.... though some that inherently store high IM fat.. may not do so as preferentially when adding exogenous slin..

oh yeah....I'm convinced on the whole insulin issue....you and animal (IMO, two of the smartest posters) both say the same things about insulin (that it's generally bad).

Plus I used to be (2 years ago) pretty overweight (lost almost 90lbs)......I really don't think the use of insulin would be in my best interest :-P

probably should not be taken together.. though its not 100%% clear as to the impact.

might want to ask fonz his opinion as the nighttime GLA bolus is his "baby"... though would venture to guess that either way is fine

Yes, on an empty stomach.

Right when you go to bed.

4hrs after your last meal.

What about those that eat right before they go to bed? I train at night so I eat my 2nd PW meal (brown rice/chicken) like 20 minutes before bed.

Then set your alarm and get up in 4 hours to take it.

j/k

I just take it before bed even though I had food an hour earlier and it seems to be working just as well.

Take it with the meal then.

AS GLA has thermogenic/nutrient partitioning properties.

Also slightly lowers blood glucose.
