Gay guys big and ripped, straight guys small and fat? Why????

No doubt that gay/bisexual men have a greater motivation to be in the best condition possible. Ever been to a gay bar on a Saturday nite? All shirts come off, so competition is high. There is tremendous pressure on both straight and gay men; just pick up any fitness/bodybuilding magazine. Everyone is waxed, shaved, and toned. To be sure, gay men tend to wear more body concious clothing, and fat doesn't cut it in those fashions. This might all sound rather surface, and of course relationships go much deeper, but first impressions are often lasting impressions

I totally agree with supersizeme!! I have lots of gay and lesbian friends, and the men are always way more into their looks than the women are. Because they are so superficial about their looks they would be obviously more inclined to do more about it!! Just a thought!!
