oks its been on my mind for a bit wandering what you guys think. im big into hunting and have lots of deer/elk/moose meat in my freezer. its a lot leaner the most beef. is there any difference in game meat compared to beef. cause id rather eat what in my freezer then rack up my grocery bill. let me know what you think. thxs

That is all I eat! Wild game is by far leaner than even the leanest beef, and is leaner than skinned/grilled chicken breast. I think it is the ultimate source of lean protein.

There is a post about this in the AAS board right now. The consensus(sp) seems to be that wild game meat is the best there is when it comes to meat.

He hunts!!!!

OK here are the stats from my Diet book...

Vensison/ Deer - 26g protein 0g Carbs 2g Fat (1g sat)

Very lean...very red...

Wild game is BY FAR the most protein dense meat out there.

Moose, 1 oz cut:

Total Fat 0.274g
Protein 8.26g

Moose, 12 oz cut:

Total Fat 3.29g
Protein 99.16g

Since moose and elk are closely related, I'd guess the values for elk are roughly the same.
