Gained 16 lbs in 6 weeks with 1-TU and Vitargo

Anybody who has ever read my posts knows that I never was a big supporter of supplements because most of them do jack sh%$. However, I have to admit that I was totally surprised by the results I got from talking this 1-TU with Vitargo CGL by a company called Nutrex. By the end of my 6 week cycle I had gained a solid 16 lbs and I even appear to look a bit leaner now. In case someone is interested, here's how my cycle went.

week 1: 2 gelcaps of 1-TU/day, 2 servings Vitargo-CGL/day
week 2: 3 gelcaps of 1-Tu/day, 2 servings Vitargo/day
week 3: 3 gelcaps of 1-TU/day, 2 servings Vitargo/day
week 4: 3 gelcaps of 1-TU/day, 1 serving Vitargo/day
week 5: 3 gelcaps of 1-TU/day, 1 serving Vitargo/day
week 6: 2 gelcaps of 1-TU/day, 1 serving Vitargo/day

During weeks 5&6 I added Tribex 500 to the mix to support my own natural T production and to keep my nuts 'healthy'.

Right now I continue with just 1 serving of Vitargo per day and I am still using the Tribex 500 to hopefully retain as much size as possible.

Congratulations! Sounds like you made some serious improvements. Can you post a link where I can find more info on this stuff and possibly order it? Thanks.

I ordered 1-TU and Vitargo CGL through www.netrition.com

I was especially intrigued by the idea of consuming a creatine product that contains a high molecular weight carbohydrate as a carrier instead of sugars like dextrose. IMHO this formula is much superior to Celltech. If you need more info go to www.nutrex.com

Does anyone else have an opinion on this Vitargo stuff? I was reading the info on it a while ago and I also like (love) that there's no damn sugar in it. I'd like to hear some more opinions, however.

you will find some very useful information on www.vitargo.com

since this is a swedish site you must click on the british flagg (icon) to go to the english text.
that's how I first stumbled upon vitargo and realized it's a much better carbohydrate than dextrose or maltodextrin, especially when it comes to post-workout supplementation.

Does the vitargo spike insulin levels...even though it's sugar free?

If so, wouldn't the spike in insulin possibly cause increased boadyfat?

that vitargo shit always seemed to clump out.

yep,
mine too if i didn't mix it thoroughly enough. i was told that this is due to the complex molecular structure of the starchy base carbohydrate. on the other hand, this is also a sign of quality i guess, since you will immediately know if you have a real starchy carb or just a simple sugar. talk about a 2 way street.
