What does your meal plan look like for each of these plans? Some days I train late, so I get 5 meals in and then two shakes postworkout...no real meals, but oats are in one of my shakes and then cottage cheese is in the prebed...seems to work ok, with a mix of carbs and protein in each of the 4 meals prior

But when I train in the am, first thing, there is no way I can eat first. Do you typically taper off carbs as the day progresses?

I dont think its a good idea to lift heavy without having anything to eat before. Your body NEEDS carbs and calories to lift. Now cardio is great in the AM without food because youll only be burning fat instead of calories. I notice if I dont eat enough during the day how much weaker I will be. Get some muscle milk and drink it in the morning beofre a workout. I often have plenty of ANPB and Whey for meals.... long as your getting in your vitamins/Cals/Protien/Carbs/Fiber/etc your fine.

Couldnt imagine a mm before training....fats and mcts would destroy me....when do you typically incorporate it? What does your overall meal plan look like?

Really a muscle milk with some skim and ice in a blender would smooth my stomach in the morning after taking some T-Rex. And my overall meal plan changed recently because of me starting AS. So its basiccly eat clean 6 times a day with high protien. :) its pretty easy. Back when I was being real strict I would sometimes wake up a hour early eat some eggs and go back to sleep for another hour then hit the gym. I hate AM training. I workout out no early then 6 now.

when you wake up your muscles are starving for nutrients...the worst thing you can do is lift on an empty stomach first thing in the morning...wake up like 30 minutes earlier then normal and drink a shake...

SO WORKING OUT AT 6PM, HOW do you structure you meals? 4 before, 2 after?
What are your stats?

I dont really plan my meals around my workout. Its the other way around for me. I eat every 2-3 hours. Perporitonally to my diet. For example. I need to get in approx 4000 cals a day, thats approx 670 cals a meal. So I go to the fridge and start picking out things that are high protien/carbs/Cals. So I would pick out maybe a half pound of lean beef, wheat buns, and maybe have some whey with it. Then when it comes around 6 the meal before I eat plenty of carbs and high in protien. ANPB sadwich and whey works well. Then when I feel that I am ready mentally and my stomach is chilled I leave. That might be 6 Might be 7 might be 9 if I have to take a nap.

My stats. are 194 lbs. About 16-17%BF 5'8 And workin on it. This is not for someone that is wanting to go in competition....

Well it could be for competition I guess if you cut down the cals about 1700 and ate real clean. Thats just how I do it..... some people work better on strict routines. I work better on how I feel and what I feel that I need.
