for Good Mornings . . .

The lower you manage to sit the bar, the lower your centre of gravity will be. The lower your centre, you lift lift more weight and keep the stress where you want it, making it less likely to injure yourself. My old training partner used to sit it halfway down his back, far lower than people do to squat, but he was able to do triples with 500-600lbs, and thats what he swore by

I usually keep the bar on the same place on my upper back when I perform a squat.

That's where I place the bar for GM's as well. (Arched-back GM's.)

The only time I have had problems with the bar rolling up onto my neck was when doing rounded-back GM's. The bar rolled up onto my neck at the bottom of the movement and about killed me.:D I don't do rounded-back GM's anymore. (Not until I can get me one of those cool bars that wrap around your neck. Don't know what they're called.)

I have a question for bottom-position GM's. These just feel like a bottom position squat to me. Is that how they are supposed to feel? I tried them from parallel to standing for my ROM. Is that correct? (I took my form from video's posted on here.)
