I'll get to journal tomorrow AM. 4 AM is slowly creeping up on me.

:sleep2:

Errrrr...pics? :worried: But...but...maybe in a few weeks? :freak: I can tell you one thing...I'm still fat!

Ha! Bunny, my trainer is the torturer. Today's depletion workout...wow. Full body depletions are BRUTAL. When I am allowed to do HIIT again, I will DEFINITELY be trying those drops!

Hey Treil! ;) Good to see you back! It's on now...no turning back! I am superexcited! :elephant: I can't wait until you start so that I can start following along!

:wavey: Hey Rooney! I buy all of my seasonings in bulk from either Whole Foods or another one of the local health food stores. I see that you shop at Trader Joe's a lot. Do you ever shop at Whole Foods? They are a bit more expensive, but some things are better together such as bulk nuts and spices.

If you like spicy, pick up some red thai curry paste. About 1 tsp of that along with 1 tsp of natural PB makes a great sauce for chicken breast. I cut mine up into cubes and cook them through, then add the curry paste and PB and a bit of water. Soooooo good with broccoli!

5:45 AM: 1 scoop Isopure
7:30 AM: 7 egg whites
10:00 AM: 6 oz jerk chicken, broccoli, 1 cup oats

I know this post was a while ago, but I just had to chime in on the curry paste! I do the same thing, but add a pinch of stevia and some shoyu... lord!! I had it last night with chix, tofu and broccoli over brown rice....yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Have you ever tried the American Tuna in the gold can from Whole Foods? OMG mixed with fresh salsa... killer... now I'm hungry.
:worried:

Let me know if you try it and like it, Scorpio!

Hmmmm...trying to play the Karma game and it allowed me to give karma to one person then it didn't allow me again. Hmmmmm...

Got my new program. :eek2: 3 full body workouts per week, 3 sessions of cardio, lots of depletion going on...then a HUGE carb up! I'm talking bagels, Lucky Charms, peanut butter. Oooooohhhh yeeeeeaaa...

Ok, sounds good to me! Sign me up - I'm subscribing to your log right now.... How many days in a row do you carb deplete?

drops on the step mill ... the one machine I miss so much from the old gym!!

Tell me more about your cardio - I'm at three sessions, thinking of bumping up to four.

Hey WonderWoman! I am doing 3 days of cardio this week and next week. 45 minutes @ 75% max heartrate. I do various equipment, but usually use what is easiest to get my heartrate up...which is the stepmill and the treadmill.

I technically carb deplete 6 or 6.5 days. This week, I have a half day carb up and next week I have a full day carb up.

Have you stopped seeing progress? If so, you could bump your cardio to 4 days...or just increase the amount of time you do cardio on those 3.

I'll have to try that out, Cali! Now...canned tuna...I CANNOT do!

this is the cool part.... it does not taste like canned tuna, it tastes like TUNA!
It's Albacore. Pole Caught, in America, hand packed in Washington state and minimally processed. It comes in one big chunk, taste like it had been broiled. $5.99 a 6 oz. can. gooooooooooooooood stuff!

I started eating super clean about 6 weeks ago, and wanted to kick things up a notch before my cruise (memorial day). That's why I wanted to try carb cycling and more cardio - to really see if I can cut the fat offa me! I thought of you this AM when I did treadmill and stairmaster. It's been awhile since I got on the stepper and it really kicked my ass!

Re- Tuna. Canned tuna is the ONLY fish I can get my bf to eat. If ONLY he would go for some nice salmon, or tilapia....

Listen to the girl!!! This stuff is AWESOME!!!!!! I have Albacore almost every day either in the pouch (flavored), or can (unflavored). It's really good with a little stoneground mustard on it if you need a little flavor. :)

My bf use to eat the regular chunk light tuna in water.....I call that stuff SLUDGE! CANNOT stomach it. Albacore is WAY better!

Alright Scorpio and Cali...if I choke and die, it's the two of you guys' fault! :lmao:

Hmmmm...I'm going to hop over to your log WonderWoman. I have a few ideas for you.

Treil...thanks for the encouragement. :) I'll get there...just need to get some things in my life ironed out, ya know?

FBC- THanks for taking a peek today!!

Re- fish. How and what do you cook ... that tastes good? I wanted to make some kind of sauce for the BF. Horseradish and mustard mix is the first thing that comes to mind..

Hmmmmm...what kind of fish are you cooking? That makes a huge difference.

Usually, lighter white fish such as red snapper or flounder are quite good with a vingarette of sorts. Heavier fish, such as salmon, are good with a vinegarette of sorts as well but are also good with a tzaziki-type sauce.

A GOOD "dressing" for fish is olive oil, lemon juice, fresh herbs such as oregeno, and capers. :p

Let me know what kind of fish you plan on cooking and we can figure something out.

I weighed in and took measurements this AM. 4 lb drop and a 2% drop in bodyfat. :garza: Very happy girl here!

Depletion Day 2

No cardio this AM

5:45 AM: whole egg, egg whites, mushrooms, spinach, green beans, apple
9:00 AM: baked tuna, spinach, strawberries
12:00 PM: chicken breast with garlic, lime, and ginger, spinach, blueberries
3:00 PM: jerk shrimp, broccoli

Hi again! I cooked tilapia last night. A few sprays of Promise in a frying pan, some garlic and pepper... a few minutes on each side to brown it up. I thought it tasted great. He did the mustard and horseradish thing, and ate a 4 oz filet. I guess it's a step in the right direction! I'll have to do a vinigarette next time - Sounds yummy!

Also- great progress!!! 4 lbs and 2% bodyfat - You go girlie!

^^ AMEN sista..

FBC... feel better, i know the low carb was killin' ya ... Bunny vibes your way hun :rose:

Ahhhh, you're joining me in the mornings with SHRIMP!!!! Gotta' love crustaceons! :twirl:

Tough crowd! Fine, pictures tomorrow AM. ;)

I went ahead about bought the Glucorell-R. I don't have much as far as high carbs go, but I will take them with meals of over 30 carbs. 120 caps should last me a LONG time! Probably throughout the duration of this cut! Everyone speaks so highly of it, so...here goes nothing!

Scorp, my coworkers HATE that I'm doing this to them. I eat ALL day long. At least I don't eat canned tuna in the office...unlike the guy across the hall.

FBC - this is totally based on YOU, if you want to try taking the Glucorell on low carb days (and I've spoke in depth with this with Ulter, you do NOT have to take them with complex carbs only...) and you start to get headaches, other sides, feel faint .. like you're going hypo, then you KNOW that may not be a good idea.

But how will you know if this will happen unless you try it out? Just be careful, test the waters, maybe try it on a mod carb day to see how that works first. GREAT SUPP PEROID ... great buy ...

Thanks for the info, Bunny! I'm not certain that I really have any moderate carb days. My highest carbs that I get on non-refeed days is a total of ~100g.

I'll definitely try it out, especially on one of my Friday's off when my head doesn't have to be screwed on so tightly.

PERFECT ... some days I have nothing but green veggies & a take 2 caps with every meal, (it does have benefits with cancer cell transcription et all so my dose will be different than most others) but I'd rather see you test it out to see how YOU feel on it, and post your results to help others... not just avoid it all together when you don't know for a fact you will experience such hypolike symptoms etc... you get my drift.. rambling

VERY interesting to know...I will be testing and see how it goes. I can't wait for my new package from Mr UPS Man! He tends to be SO FUGGIN' SLOW.

And you must have been reading my mind a few posts back. Been a rough day. 6 days of depleting and I'm a wreck. I even cried in my office this AM. :worried: Of course, it was WAY before my coworkers were in. :supercool:

Fly, when you get a chance, can you post what I should be looking for at Whole Foods? Now that I'm finally better, I'd like to make it over there this weekend.

I got the thai curry paste and I will check out their spice section. You mentioned Ezeikal wraps in one of your posts? Can I find those there too? Thanks in advance! :rose:

You're strong you can do it... Just keep thinking the day when you stand on that stage and you have done it... This is the sacrifice you are making now!!! Sow your seeds, water your seeds (NOT with tears either!!!), and reap the harvest!

:wavey: Hey ya'll

Ice, I was strong! Not a thing went into my mouth. I was very proud of myself! The reps vary on my workouts. Some days they are higher, some days they are lower. Sets are usually consistent. Can't give TOO much info!

Ice and Aries...those foods are VERY high in GI, low in fiber. If you notice, my foods for the rest of the week are VERY low in GI, VERY high in fiber. I eat no more than 100g of carbs a day most days, which are depletion days. Then I get a big carb up. :p It's not traditional diet food, but it works in regards to this approach.

Thanks, Que! Actually...I had no soreness. I want DOMS, darnit!

Getnfit...trust me...you don't! That smell was intoxicating!

Thanks, Curgeo!

3:00 PM: grilled shrimp, asparagus

Heya Que! Haha...well, enjoy the DOMS for me. I can't get them for love nor money...

Morning, Treil! No DOMS. I want pain, dammit! Ah well...

I took pictures last week, but I haven't posted them. I can't see any change, so I guess I felt it was pointless. I'll put them on my yahoo site tonight.

No problem tap into that Cardio breeze and I tell you what...Killa work-out!
I took 2, not one but 2, Thermorexin today before cardio. I guess stimulants do little for me...I don't even get buzzed!

I'm thinking of getting some Cardio Breeze as well. I ordered Glucorell last week. I'm going to have a stash as bad as you, Bunny, and Sassy pretty soon.

I've taken both.

I like the Cardio Breeze much more than the T-Rex before a workout! I feel good, lotsa energy, I'm focused and strong! I just want to get in there and bang out reps... no 'uuughhh, it's a leg day'....

Yeah I haven't even started taking thermorexin yet. I have 2 bottles of it... Just waiting to add that in later on down the road.

:wavey: Morning, folks.

Mermaid, my balsamic vinegarette is 1 tbs balsamic vinegar, 1 small clove of garlic chopped finely, 1 tsp of olive oil, salt, and pepper. It's good! I hate mustard, but you could add dijon mustard if you wanted.

That's likely a good idea, Treil. I added it now per my trainer. She believes caffeine+synephedrine or ephedrine combined with fasted cardio does improve fat loss. We shall see...

Wonderwoman...very interesting. Once I am done with this T-Rex, I'll order some CB as well. I'll probably start cycling them when I do.

4 AM, god bless your heart girl. I did make it for cardio at 5:45 today, but 4 AM!! What time does your head hit the pillow at night?

You're looking low-carb today; me too. I'm going to steal some of your meals. Grilled shimpees sound yummy. My grams did them for an appetizer on Easter Sunday. Especially for me she said, because she knew I wouldn't eat the dinner rolls! LOL....

Looks good FBC, but I am with WW on the 4 am!! That is craziness - how do you do it? :worried:

Fly, I'm just gonna call you the recipe queen from now on. :Chef: What exactly do you put in your greek turkey burger (sorry if this is a repeat question, but I just started catching up on everyone's log)?

Thanks for your sweet comments in my log too! My neck and shoulders are feeling all better today.

Alright...so yesterday was BAD.

I haven't been able to go to the bathroom for days. Despite eating upwards of 35g of fiber, my body has gone into major distress. I have a lot going on in my life right now...mostly dealing with work. Yesterday, I was so bloated that I could not button my pants despite eating clean and dropping fat for quite a few weeks.

Competition prep is going to go on the back burner for now. I am going to continue to drop fat because...well, it's that time of year! Right now is just not the time to be stressed with competition prep as I will soon either a) not have a job or b)have to prove myself to a new boss.

I'll get a mod to change the title of my thread. I love EF too much to leave. I'll still follow my trainer's diet for the next 4 weeks and possibly longer depending on how much further I have to go. I will assess in 4 weeks and make that decision.

My biggest task now? Relieve myself of enough stress to actually be able to relieve myself. :worried:

No no no! You've worked to hard and come so far to quit now! Think about all you resisted on Easter Sunday, you are strong girl!!! :mix:

Thinking happy thoughts and sending good vibes your way...

Thanks, Wonder. :) I'm not quitting...just postponing. There is another show in November that I may do, depending on my status.

The truth of the matter is, if my health is not up to par then competing is the last thing I should be doing. And if I lose my job, I won't be able to afford to compete. This is just the sensible thing to do right now.

It wasn't easy for me to make this decision, but I have no choice. Day 4 and I still haven't been able to go potty. 35g of fiber a day and I can't potty...NOT good at all.

I agree- physically and mentally, you have to be on-point to compete.

I know I already send some good vibes, this time I'll send some laxatives your way too. It's gotta come out - and soon - or you'll end up looking three months pregnant, or even worse, exploding...! Cheer up, have a laugh or two, ok? :)

SO sorry dear!!! Yeah finances and health come first!!! Just keep on doing what you need too girl!

You said it in my log, Fly, and I'll say it in yours....your health comes first, girl! I know it must be tough to come to this decision, but I'm glad you are still going to continue to drop fat, keep at the diet and train. Hopefully your life will become less stressful and your body will return to its normal state soon. We're all still right behind you! :friends:

Thanks, ladies!

Rooney, you're so right. Training makes me happy, so I am definitely NOT going to stop doing that. Gotta keep on pressing on...

Thanks for understanding, Treil. Even coming here to say that was tough. This does not mean that I won't be competing at all, though!

Laxatives. :worried: I might have to go that route if things don't improve. Yikes! I am in better spirits today though. Now, looking 3 months pregnant would be BAD! :lmao:

May wanna talk to m24k about this ... :rose:

Damn FBC, sorry to hear that.

Now get the kiwi, berries, grapefruit, beans and bran going.

I hope the work situation improves :rose:

I'm noticing I don't go as nearly as much as I did, and I've been getting those Kanker (spelling) sores. They kill!!!! NOt sure why that's happening?!?
So I know how you feel about not going to the bathroom!

I'm an EC addict.....ask Nelms....he's tried to get me off them....just ain't gonna' happen.

I like T-Rex better than CB, because it's stronger and you can really feel the thermo (body temp rise) with it. T-Rex and CB will not give you the JOLT EC will. So if you've never done ephedrine & caffiene before, GET READY TO BE ROCKED! I had to start out with 1 E, and only 1/2 a C to start.

I hope you are "clearing" up and stuff. Stay strong and focused and you will be ok soon. Also, be careful with laxatives. They are ok once in a while but dont rely on them too much. And, keep in mind that they flush out a lot of nutrients along the way so up your veggies for the day(regardless of how much of them you eat).

*Has there been ANY changes in your diet recently (within the last week or two) that would cause this? If you start to feel abdominal cramping and pain, you might consider a doctor visit.

Hope you are well SOON!!!

Hey Girl.

I had the same problem last week. I also was eating a lot of fibre and still nothing - it was just about 1 week!!
Anyway, I bought some Benefibre and put it in my protein shake. After a day and a half I finally went.
I have been prone to constipation all of my life and it's NOT fun! I can relate. Hang in there!!!

:wavey:

Hey ladies!

Beauts, you SO understand me! Oh my goodness...that is just like me. I eat a TON of veggies, too. I ended up taking some extra psyllium husks for the day and it helped. I've been running smoothly since!

CK, You're a sweetie! Thank you!

You get kanker sores when you can't go, Treil? Weird...so odd. Do you think the new diet is the cause of you not being able to go?

Thanks for the info, Scorpio! Hmmm...E+C. I might just give that a go once I finish this T-Rex! ;) Do you ever get off of them?

Buns and Nelms :qt:

I'm too lazy to post my workout, but I kicked butt! 45 lb DBs for flat bench, 155 lb low olympic squat, and 195 lb deadlift. ;) Finished myself off with 10 minutes of HIIT on the stepmill a la Bunny.

Got a KILLER deal at the supplement store today. VP2 for half price. YEEESSSSSSS! Picked up another supplement, too. Nelms should know what it is, even if I don't tell him. He seems to like it...plans to use it as well.

Thanks for the prayers, Ice! I am good on the job. I am changing to a new group which means a whole new set of responsibilities and having to prove myself. Fun, fun! You're such a sweetie!

FBC, I'm surprised you found some at a health food store. Of course, I haven't been in one for years, but I'm surprised, anyway. I get mine online. :)

By the way, you are moving NICE weight. Great job! :)

WOW - awesome job on the weights girl!! I need to hook up with you as a training partner...Nelmsjer might get a little jealous though! :lmao: ;)

Well if you don't plan on doing a comp... You should look into coming up here for the meet up! If you have the time of course ;)
