It is more like 10. Most capsules are 1 gr., and most oils are 1 tbsp. is 10 gr.

The oil is usually a better buy. More bang for the buck. Use it as part of a salad dressing. This works well.
 
Everyone always told me that the real thing is BETTER than the caps...but if you cant stomach the oil you BABY then go with the caps :evil: (lol)

I have 3 protein shakes per day. I have a tablespoon of flaxseed oil in the morning and afternoon shakes but not the shaike I have before bed.
I use Optimum Nutrition Cookies n Cream protien powder in water and I can't even notice the taste of the oil...
 
If you are grinding up your own seeds, what would be the amount per day to consume?? Would it still be roughly 2 tbsps?? The reason I ask, is that I asked my girl to pick me up some oil and she got me a fricking pound of the seeds. And I hate wasting things.

Usually it's 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed (milled). If all you have is the whole seeds, it's best to grind them in a coffee grinder or food processor for a few seconds. The whole seeds have a harder time fully digesting.
 
Yeah, I went and picked up a coffee grinder this morning. I guess I'll just grind it up and put it in my oat meal and shakes. Not sure what else to do with it hehe.
