I used to have a nice flat tummy. Last place to gain weight. now it actually jiggles when i jump. i hate it. i do jog/run, do sit-ups, dont eat a lot of carbs, drink water, don't drink soda. basically, i try to eat right and work out. ive never had kids. and when ive gained weight in the past, the first place i lost it was my tummy.
now, im usually skeptical about new scientific findings, but im beginning to believe stress is indeed related to weight around the middle. I've been really stressed out these past few months, and my middle has refused to be firm again.
any other theories?
while im on it. im also confused about the whole walk vs run thing. somewhere ive read that walking burns fat more than running as running just turns to carbs for energy whereas prolonged walking (1 hour) taps into our fat stores. which is which?
