Fixing my eating problems....now i understand why

for anyone what knows about my eating disorder i have something to tell you.

i recently starting using fitday.com and have been tracking my diet. i realized that with all the running and lifting i do. along with my age and general lifestyle my bmr is roughly 3800 calories per day or more!

i looked at my diet and saw i ate 75% of my cals at night.

i eat on average about 1000 calories nutil 4pm.

at this point my body is craving needed fuel and i end up eating 3000 cals in 2 meals. this makes me feel like i'm binging but in reality i need this food

i am working on spreading out my calories and giving myself more fuel early in the day so i am not having to pig out at night,

the reason i know i am using almost 4000 cals a day just for maintenance is because i ate 3600 cals yesterday and i woke up feeling starved and empty. i was also 5lbs lighter than normal.

i am getting ready for a race so i'm not eating as much fat and protiein as i normally would.

I want to be the first one to say, congratulations on trying to improve your diet. It's a first step to victory w/ this problem. I must admit when you first posted I thought you were joking, now I think otherwise.

Don't get fooled by the caloric recommendations of doctors (fitday has MD advice) for most people weight x 15 is way more than enough to maintain.

i was dealing with the binge and purge thing. i am not overweight nor am i fat.

i'm easily in the 7-8% bodyfat range. i just can't justify my extreme hunger. i realize the reason i'm craving food is because i started running last year. i've been increasing my weekly mileage and my bmr has gone up. i used to just weight train but now i do both. my body needs the extra cals just to maintain.

the problem is i don't eat enough calories early in the day which leads to me overeating at night. i feel guilty when i take it to the extreme and i sometimes not always purge.

Oxandrin, no one can beat my Binge eating disorder that happened at the end of my last diet. I wasn't weighting a lot at all!! Yet I managed some days to eat something in the range of 10,000 cals a day (I KNOW to count calories! trust me!). Sometimes eating something like 500g of waffers at one sitting just thing brings you easily to 2500cals in half an hour!

I AM CURED!

My mistakes:
Cardio !! Too much! I DON'T do cardio anymore. Never during cutting. I was eating too little. Hormonal imbalance binge-eating(as opposed to emotional environmental binge eating) is non-curable with will power alone. Just like a narcotic user can't just tell himself to stop taking narcotics (in most cases) I know that example is harsh, but you get the point. Supplement did it for me along with diet.

On this cutter I binged just 4-5 times and the amounts weren't even close to the 10,000 rank. I stopped it early with 5-HTP and L-Tyrosine regimn which helped me to a huge extent. It stopped it completely (i can outline the regimn if you want me to). Advice of many people is sincere, but nothing like an advice from someone who've been in the situation.

Interestingly, since I started Mr.X diet a few days ago, not that I don't binge, I don't even get attracted so much to carbs(VERY VERY weird for a carb lover like myself). So I even dropped the 5-HTP almost completely. If you need any help, just ask buddy.

this si exactly what happens to me..when I weight train and go for a run ~4 miles I get voraciously hungry after dark..eat,wake up and eat, wake up and eat...manage though now to stay in the ~9% range..pretty dam good compared to the general population..I also think too that I suffer from serotonin shortages at night and the carb cravings are trying to correct the imbalance..I just know I'm going to eat at night,so rarely eat during the day and/or prior to my workout..its not a textbook diet and it aint pretty, but it works for me and I'm a mesomorph/endomorph type
