first time fina user

well i mixed up my first bach of fina and all went well. I am a little nervous though about it not being clean, i bought fina kit and when i was done i boiled it in water for 10 min. Any one ever get any infections from this. I stuck myself once already and it is a little sore and it feels like there is maybe a lump in my ass cheek but i am not sure if i am being peranoid it is so suttle it hard to tell.

The lump is from the high BA content in the fina kits. Infection is a legit concern when making home brew fina. It all comes down to how careful you are. I prefer buying mine pre-made. I know it is more expensive, but I dont really care. Even though it is pre-made, I'm still concerned about infection, but no more than when injecting any other type of vet gear. Dont sweat the lump bro, just get ready to grow. Fina is awesome.
