Firefox vs. Google Chrome

If you have tried both for sweeping...which do you prefer and what aspects did you like of one versus the other?

I would say firefox personally, i think it is more stable than all of the competition, never crashes on my computer and works for most sites, features are similar between all of them.

Firefox is really good but chrome is better at rendering.

I've migrated to Chrome because FF was just too slow for me especially with multiple tabs open.

I used to be a Firefox lover, but Chrome is now my browser of choice. Chrome has never crashed on me and Firefox was terrible about crashing. Also, Firefox would get hammered when you have a ton of tabs open. Chrome is the better browser, in my opinion.

FF used to be the best browser but over time it became more and more bloated. I still use an old version of FF but i would never use a new version. When they eventually tell me I have to old of a version to load certain webpages I will switch to chrome.

For computers connected to a TV, I like running Mozilla for a video for the large screen because Mozilla is more reliable, but Chrome is a bit faster, and integrates bookmarks to a cloud profile, so I use Chrome in the smaller window for regular browsing. Chrome also updates automatically, and won't let you download torrents, I've noticed. Mozilla is more for open-web advocates, Chrome is for people who want something faster, and don't mind that they're helping Google's bottom line in the process.
