fav tracks to works out to

I like metal to listen to especially Godsmack. Funny thing is that when I had my minidisc player (stolen from gym) I usually listened to bagpipes, classical, or opera. I like the calming effect of it to help me focus.

I like for my gym to play, "I am a real American" (hulk Hogan's old theme) whenever I arrive.

I come in and do a Hoganesque pose down, and work the crowd.

It pumps me up.

:D

makedah - I got an mp3 player to use when working out. My gym plays really shitty music, and having my own music made my workouts much more fun and much more effective, interestingly.

Anyways, the mp3 player is smaller and more lightweight than cd players, and you don't incur any time or expense of burning cds. I got the Creative muvo, 64 meg version. It holds about an hour of music, which is perfect for working out. I got it for $80 online. It weighs like 3 ounces.

I listen to a random crazy mix of metal, rap, and punk covers of old songs (for the most part). Anything fast with a good beat, other than techno that is mind-numbing.
