EPA or DHA in fish oil? What is more important?

When choosing fish oil, what should it have the most - EPA or DHA? I see differing opinions on this, and different products have different ratios. Which one would you recommend.

I would rather go with the one having more of the EPA compared to DHA. However, this is not all that important, so just focus on getting high quality fish oil. Also, I would recommend you to give a try to krill oil available from N2BM – it is very similar to fish oil, but with some advantages of its own. A great product to use.

You want about a 1.5 to 1 EPA to DHA ratio. I.e 180mg EPA to 120mg DHA.

Fish oil naturally contains 180mg EPA and 120mg DHA per gram. That's the way mother nature intended it.

Thanks for the tips guys - I will choose the one with more EPA then. Seems like an easy rule to follow when choosing fish oil.
