I have this problem too. Probably from always trying to lift as heavy as possible when i started lifting. I am paying for it now, slow progress and can't bench or press heavy or do any overhead extensions.
Like others have said, tons of warm-ups, keep your elbows/arms warm. stretch and massage. And if you feel discomfort or pain in your elbow..STOP what you are doing. Finishing the set only to have to avoid exercises is not smart long term. Alflutop helped for a while in my case.
