Elbow Tendons

anyone have issues with elbow tendons being sore? Like when I flex my arms lightly the tendons in my elbows burn.
 
Yeah I'll try that. I worked out chest on wed. I woke up this morning and it feels like someone beat my elbows with a bat. It kind of feels more like where the tri goes into the elbow area.
 
I have had the same problem lately. The other day the pain didn't go away for 2 hours. I am going to get some glucosamine sulfate. That always works for me.
 
it's tendonitis. i have it too. my best solution is to rest it for a while, at least a month or so. during this time do exercises that do not put stress on your elbows. then when they feel a little better make sure to warm your elbows up really good before doing things like skull crushers or things that strain your elbows. supplements like cissus are supposed to help, but they didnt for me. maybe they would work for you though.
 
i had it quite bad for a while after i first started lifting, i just avoided any exercises that hurt it and took glucosamine, now they are fine and i dont take the glucosamine anymore
 
I like heat pre workout to keep my tendons/joints from hurting. When my elbows or shoulders are bothering me I apply hot pink Jack's Hot Pink pre workout. I always wear neoprene elbow sleeves and a hoody when I train too. A warm SL is a pain free SL :biggrin:
 
Anybody have this kind of pain on the inside of their elbow, am guessing bicepts tendon? Am using ice, and much thanks for your addition SL. Gloucosomine and Cissus do nothing for me except lighten my wallet....go figure...am saying this after long term exposure, 52 weeks+.
I notice my pain-inflamation mostly when I do close grip chims. However hammer curls (db) dont seem to bother so much.
 
Mine are so bad i used to wake up in screaming pain... massage stretch and icy hott them everynight before bed... and warm up hardcore i do 2-3 sets of 20 reps on the cables to get the blood in them before a workout :D
 
i got this when i first added seperate triceps excercises to my routine, hurts whee the tri joints the bone right?

go easy, use pain as your guide, any movement that hurts, drop for 2 weeks, then you could maybe start back into them LIGHT, slow and steady wins the race, with no injuries!

PS - ExtraMile - wish i started as young as you man, you have a huge advantage and for 15 your lookin built very damn well :D


Yeah I don't know anyone who started lifting young who doesn't look pretty jacked:D
