effective diet...

How good or bad of a diet would this be...? I'd like to put on
some muscle but be careful of the fat

meal 1
protein shake

meal 2
2 slices wheat bread
turkey
5 grams creatine

meal 3
2 slices wheat bread
tuna

meal 4
2 slices wheat bread
turkey
apple

WORKOUT

meal 5
protein shake

meal 6
steak and veggies

meal 7
2 slices wheat bread
turkey
 
**Throw in some eggs and oatmeal for meal 1.
**Throw in rice or poatoes instead of the bread.
**In meal 5 add some carbs to your protein shake-maltodextrin if you can get it will work great.
 
Also, I count 8 slices of bread. That might be a bit much if you're gonna watch your fat. I'd cut that in half, maybe add a little brown rice.
 
Yes - I would try swapping s o m e of the bread for starchy green veggies (raw beans and brocolli baby!!)...

As an experiment I tried cutting more bread, potatoes and brown rice, etc., - and replacing them with veggies....

I had 1/2 cup of oatmeal as one of my early meals and that was pretty much it for starchy carbs....

....seemed to work well....maintained muscle mass and dropped that pesky subcutaneous fat!! Give 'er a go!! Couldn't hurt....might help!!
 
instant is fine - as long as it isn't that flavored kind in the little individual packages - that stuff is just loaded down with sugar....

I like the plain and simple Quaker oats.....the large flake variety seems to have a nicer texture....

actually I buy the ones that say you should cook for 10-12 minutes - and really, two mintues in the microwave cooks them just fine as far as my taste is concerned!

you should be good to go as long as the only ingredient on the package is: steel cut oats....
