Actually I was just being a smartass about lower abs. I don't know much about exercise physiology (hell I cant even spell it) but I do know that rectus abdominus is one muscle..... There's no such thing as lower abs..
With exercises where you hang and bring you legs up, your hip flexors are the primary movers.. Abs are secondary supporters...
Yup.. no such thing as lower abs... It's like saying upper and lower bi's.
