Fishtales-by no means am I calling you a liar but honestly how do you know that for sure. It seems like everyone knows someone on here. I mean I'm sure some are legit while others are full of shit!! Anyhow I was just curious bro, thanks!!

When I train with Ronnie we hit it twice a week :D

I am trying this approach, I like it so far

Got much more overtrained splitting and working out 5x week even thought each bodypart was only being worked once a week

According to the author, seems to be a myth that the muscle must be 100% recovered, main thing is to avoid CNS burnout

42 yrs old and train each bodypart 3x week - better pumps than in years and growing again. Important point still only 3 workouts week, try to keep each workout less than an hour

good luck

Dude:
You can train certain muscles 3 or four times a week if you like.
Like deltoids, those need to be trained 3 times a week. They heal very quickly. Lats also need training often, either 2 to 3 times a week.

biceps need at least twice. triceps twice.

but larger stuff like shoulder, quads, chest, and back need only once a week or results will not be as good.

Heheh!

Go to the gym three times a week on or off - two bodyparts per day but would only train the same bp twice in any one week if it feels right!

I train each body part once a week. I think once you get to a certain point of development you are overtraining by hitting each bodypart more than once a week.

know your self

hey bro you should just find what works for you and use it because of the simple fact that everyone's diet and sleep regimens are different and also everyone recovers at different rates.

I hit everything twice within a ten day span. I don't think I could properly or adequetly train each body part more than once in five days being that it takes at least four excercises at 3-5 sets per excercise for me to even feel sore the next day.

And yup, I'm one of those guys that base the quality of a workout with severity of soreness.

But if I'm still sore I will NOT hit that part until it's no longer aching. This should be common sense.

That really depends on a lot of variables, such as how many sets you do, how many reps, what speed are you lifting the weight, how much rest you are getting in between sets, and what body part you are working.
