Hello all,
I've been inspired as of late to renew and double my efforts to slim down. I'm an office professional and sit at a desk all day. Early 30's and at one time in early 20's was a freak @205lbs. I was slim, I trained, ate whatever I wanted, and never really worried about it. Now I find myself grossly over weight, and have lifting, dieting, and running. I have good genetics, 6 foot, very muscular arms, shoulders and neck. Legs are naturally big, very stong too..feeling like a fat Bill Kasmier these days, lol. However, I have a pot belly from hell, and look like a bowling pin. This pic on my profile was from just 6 months ago. I was 270, there. I am currently 290, and hell pressed to slim down to a goal of 230. Started this regimine 2 weeks ago. I lift 4 -5 days a week, 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week and diet is like this:
6 am<300 cals (egg whites, yogurt)
9 am< 400 cals (protien shake, with creatine and carbs)
12 pm < 500 cals (protien shake w creatine and carbs)
3 pm < 300 cals (protien shake)
6 pm < 400 cals (tuna, flax oil, salmon, or chicken)
Basically, I want to know how to put out more than I take in. I want to slim down, take in as little as possible, and maximize my weight loss and fat loss. Not sure how much lean body mass I have, If I was ripped-shreded, I'd probably weigh about 215. I desperatley want to see my stomach muscles again, instead of this beer belly I have. Any advice is appreciated, and I can give more info as needed. Thank you in advance for your advice. Also I plan on doing a 'clense' this weekend to jump start a healthy intestine and colon.
