Deads question

maybe

if you are keeping your back arched in an upward position and dropping your butt your are most likely doing them right. put it this way you don't want them to look like you trying to touch your toes. almost your hole body should feel it. keep doing them they are great by the way.

OK, I decided to add deads on my back day. Now, my whole back is sore, lower back, lats and even a bit of my traps. Is this normal or am I not doing them in good form?

dealifts are th king!!!!!

I do them 2 times a week minimum!!!!!1

best I have done is 4 sets of 15 with 225.....no joke.

I did them slightly bent legged on back day.

and stiff legged on leg day.

do not be afraid of the soreness...every muscle get s blitzed!!!!

have fun

SLDL's are always incorporated into my back workout. In fact, I have added leg curls to my back workout, while my leg workout does NOT include hamstring work. I have read many articles that state you cannot get a good ham workout in if you are blasting the quads on leg day. Seems to be working, as my hams are coming out more, and back day is a more rigorous workout now. Stiff Legged version also brings out the obliques.

yep OBLIQUES TOO!!!!!

some time backI said that dead make your waist smaller, esp stiff legged deadlift.........this has always been a good consequence of deadlifts!
