Why not do them once every 2 weeks on your back day? If they are so taxing, they may be affecting your body and CNS more than you think. Pulling heavy balls to the wall style every week sure would put stress on my body.
Maybe I’m off topic a bit... but, has anyone ever tried upside down pull ups on a bar or on loop rings, with your legs tucked in, I swear these are great for lats.
