Deadlifts and biceps

My bis get a little sore also, especially my left because I keep it underhand more...I have started stretching my bis in between sets the past few months after hearing enough instances of people tearing a bi

your "under" bi should be the most sore, mostly from the stretch that holding hundreds of pounds can cause. be careful, this is the bi that always tears too...ouch

Which is why i use straps. Over and under can be real dodgy on the bi's. Not worth the risk.

This thread has been a learning expereince for me. I've never felt my bis working in the slightest on deads.

I use an opposing grip, and still never feel in in the underhanded arm. The bar hangs at the longest point possible, and my arm never contracts, so I'm not even sure HOW I would feel in in my bis. We're all different, I guess!

likewise, but I will try the undergrand grip per japanese machine's suggestion. I do the opposing grip and switch over each set..

Hey spatts;)

I usually feel it the most as i am in an upright position; the last portion of the lift. I also try to do a couple sets at the end without straps to build up my forarms and bis.

I dunno ive always gotten a good amount of indirect stimulation in all my lifts.
