deadlift pr

375lbs w/a conventional stance @ a bw of 164. was a little slow, maybe almost 2 seconds to get to lockout. my left knee was getting a little uncomfortable, so i decided to leave the 385 for another day. :D

my previous deadlift pr was 365lbs, which i did at the end of july. i was surprised that my deadlift strength has gone up, as it is the only thing that has. but hey, i'm not gonna complain.

my workout today was something like this:

squats, 5x6-8

deads 135x6, 225x4, 275x3, 315x3, 375x1

sweeeet

I think the squats may have done the damage -
good job anyway

its amazing that one day that weight will feel so light :)

Boy, I hear ya there. I had been pulling 355 for 6 singles until my last back day. I loaded 355 and it flew up. So, I went to 375 and hit 4 singles. (All after warmups, of course.) Closest I have come to passing out after each single. But damn, it felt great.

Weirdest thing though, I was not sore at all the next day or day after. I never got sore from that workout. Normally, I have some tightness or soreness after a good back day. But nothing. Anyone got an explanation why?

Very cool bro:beer:

Imagine what you could've done if you didn't squat

Don't worry...2 seconds isn't very slow man. When I did my last 1rm, I swear it felt like it took 10 minutes to get that fucker up.

since I am not training on my max, but more on endurance, I am pretty sure once I up the ante on my deads, I wll be up with you guys soon. my last was 335, conventional.
