There are some guys who do DL as part of their leg day training and other as part of their back day!!

What is the proper Dl movement?Dont wanna hurt my spine...

I just started doing them( I put a board 4 by 4 under my heels,is that OK)?...even though I have been working out for 4 years, I didnt really try them out..Man, they are a killer...

I also do hack squats..I dont have a rack at home so I cant do normal squats...

Anyway they are thought to be an excellent overall compound exercise, therefore I will give it a try!!

This site was given to me for proper form of almost any lift from another bro in here. Loads of good info there.

I do deads at the end of my back routine, and stiff legged deads at the end of my leg day.... It never occured to me to do otherwise.

Wouldnt you be spent already after a full back work out, to try to do DL?

Why not at the beginning?

cause at the end of my back routine I do deads and then move to bis. this is the same with legs. basically i want to get the form down and i can actually concentrate on a whole motion since it is the end of my workout....

both really but most do them on back day.

I pull with a wide sumo stance and my arms are just hooks, my lower back feels almost nothing. Just power it up with my legs. Rip it up!
