There was a bunch of commotion going on outside the office today. Someone came in and said there was a suicide jumper on a building across the street. We looked out the window and there was indeed a dude standing on a ledge about 10 stories high. There was a fireman sticking his head out the window offering him a rope to pull him in. After a few minutes his hands started quiverring and he fell backwards. I couldn't see him hit the ground because there was another building in the way. I'm glad for that. I like gory movies but I'm not much of a fan of it in real life.

I don't know what his problems were but it all just seemed so pointless. That's a shitty way to go. I think he just went out there to get attention and accidently fell. When he dropped it looked like an accident. I'll have a hard time sleeping tonight.
I think I read someone else on here today that said they witnesssed someone dying in an accident. It kind of sucks. I wish I hadn't looked out the damn window. I don't know why I did, I guess there was just overwhelming curiosity.

Without going into too much detail, I had a guy committ suicide over me. He swallowed rat poison. It slowly ate through his stomach lining and killed him rather painfully. I simply could not picture someone going through that much pain.

I didn't know how to react when I found out about it. We got out of college for the summer break and he never returned to college that fall. His sister told me later when I ran into her at Phipps Plaza. He left a note behind for his family to find and everything, naming me in it.
