Cutting Diet for Noob

New member
Hi Folks, i'm new here and i'd like you to help me lose some weight.
I read a lot of articles but i'm still doubt.
As i know the better way to get the BF down is using the CKD diet, so can you help with this?

My weight is 170.5lbs
BF 13.5%
I think it's not so high, but i'd like to reach 9%-10% before starting a bulking fase

I have already visited the CKD hp, and i used their calculator, but i still don't know how many calories i have to eat on a day, do i have do cicle the calories? 60/35/5 fat/prot/carb it's a good %?
Please, give me some tips about what to do.

Thanks a lot.:D

The better way to get the BF down is the way that fits into your training/life styles, and the one you'll be happy sticking with. If that's a CKD, awesome...if not, as long as it works for you, that's what counts. You may end up trying diets that don't work for you along the way, but keep fine-tuning, seeking information, and trying new approaches. This is the process by which we learn the most about our individual bodies. :)

You don't have to cycle calories, no, but many people find this to be a successful approach. It's one that I personally like, but it's certainly not the only way to do things.

See this thread for an idea of how to calculate the calories your body requires. You'd adjust cutting cals from that point.

That fat seems awfully high, but I'll let a CKD person comment on this.
