Hey guys I got a cuttine diet recently from a buddy who is a bartender. He said he got it from a friend who was a Collegiate Strength Coach, and I wanted to get your alls oppinions on it. To me it seems like a modified CKD/TKD diet, as you have one refeed on day 6, but seem to time some of the carbs after working out (ie fruit).

Day1 (Back/Biceps)
1)6 egg whites, 2 yolks, bowl oatmeal
2)Protein shake (approx 55-60g protein), 13 almonds
*Have apple or orange after working out
3)Romain Lettuce, Tomatoes, Chix breast
4)Protein shake (55-60g) with 2 tbsp Flaxseed
5)Bad of Tuna (60gm approx or 6oz) and 2tbsp apple cider vinegar
6)ZMA

Day2 Legs (apple/orange after workout)
1)same
2)same
3)8oz steak (fillet or sirlon), Sweet Potato, Raw Broccoli spears (till full on broccoli)

5)same
6)same

Day3: Chest/Triceps (apple/orage after workout)

2)same

4)same
5)same
6)same

1)same
2)same
3)Chix breast (breaded in oatmeal and egg whites) grilled over raw spinach (1/2 cup)
4)same
5)same
6)same

1)8oz fillet/sirloin, 6 egg whites, 13 almonds (no oatmeal)
2)55-60g protein shake & 1tbsp Smuckers all natural PB
3)Tuna on Lettuce (approx 6oz)
4)same
5)Beef Jerky (eat till full) and 13 almonds
6)same

Day 6: Back/Chest (orange after workout)
(High Protein and CArbs)
1)Fruit Medly/Golean cereal (as much as you want)
2)Chicken, Sweet Pot, all veggies you want (even carrots)
3)55-60g protein shake, Banana, Almonds
4) Beef Jerky, Potato, Veggies (Jerky till full)
5)55-60g Protein shake with Flaxseeds
6)same

Day7: Go back to Day 1

Well guys let me know your thoughts on this cutting diet.

My buddy claims you can lose about 10-15lbs in about 2 weeks if you run it right, so probably about 5lbs of water and then whatever else you manage to lose. It appears to be high enough in protein to maintain LBM and lost primarily fat, but I am unsure if you are able to achieve Ketosis very well on this diet.

He reccomends taking Nitroxide on it, or an ECA ,and I think Ill run it taking an ECA and rotating possibly Clen at night.

Lose the fruit post workout and replace with glucose or dextrose/maltodextrin

Fruit sugars, fructose, will not spike the insulin as desired post workout

There's no way I'd hit ketosis on that diet....too much protein/carbs and not nearly enough fat.

The food choices themselves aren't necessarily bad as far as "bodybuilding" is concerned - but you really can't base a cutting plan around a generic diet recommended by someone else. You need to tailor calorie intake to your own body weight, genetics and level of activity.

yeah it seemed to me that it was a modified CKD as it allowed about 25 carbs for Breakfast for the oatmeal, and about 15carbs for the Sweet Potato and around 6carbs per protein shake, so it nets around 60-70carbs for most of the days. It looks like a carb depletion diet to me, and I was just curious since this was sanctioned by a collegiate coach

Right, definately not a CKD nor a TKD. Why so much fructose post-workout? This is probably the worse carb to use for replenishing muscle glycogen, but it will still replenish enough liver glycogen to make going back into ketosis difficult.

yeah I wondered that too, but Ill give it a try for a bit... Im thinking the Fruit POst workout is just to take up Calories to make sure you are not only eating protein, as the diet seems pretty low fat as well
