Curious

I am currently 175lbs and about 17% bodyfat at 5'10". I am in a bulking stage. but here lately i feel like i am at a standstill. If i were to want something to help speed up the process or to at least help, what would you guys suggest

how old are you? how long you been training?

you have little to no muscle mass on your frame with those stats. need to build a better base, sounds like you are looking for a short cut.. won't happen

I am 22. and i will have been training for a year in june. When i started training i was about 210lbs at a much higher bodyfat percentage.

What would you suggest as far as helping build a better base?

keep working out.. you got a late start in life but doing steroids isn't gonna help you catch up. gotta put in the hours in the weight room.

i would suggest improving your diet and training from here and you will start seeing more progress.. no way with those stats you are even close to reaching a hard to break barrier.

continue losing the body fat.. twice a day cardio would be tremendous and cutting out bad shit out of your diet and replacing with veggies. and then with weight training i would focus on high reps and quick workouts to improve your conditioning.. 20 sets in under 45 minutes should be your goal.. its easily do-able if you aren't wasting time socializing and mirror watching yourself and chicks.. go there to workout not to fuck around. morning cardio i suggest 1-2 miles fast pace on the bicycle before breakfast. you can pop a piece of fruit before but save breakfast till after. a mile or two on the bicycle takes a few minutes.. surely you have a few minutes in the morning to get this done

Listen to Stevesmi. Under a year training there is no way you hit a plateau and if you did just change up your workout routine. My guess if you got this late of a start on lifting you probably aren't to well educated in training or dieting. Read as much as you can on here and other boards in the workout and dieting section. Not the AAS section. 17% is to high of BF to start cycling as well. Get your diet in check and get the BF down. Also at 22 your still producing a lot of natty T right now.

So once you do all of this and have about 3 more years under your belt of great training and dieting. Then you can start researching and asking for advice on a cycle around here.

Probably not what you want to hear but bros around here will shoot you straight and look out for your personal health

one year seems like a long time but not for your muscles those bad boys are just starting to grow, diet is how you are going to get HUGE, read up on mags and websites on clean bulking diet and supplements that help you grow like creatine, eat eat and eat.. steroids alone cannot help you achieve your goal, once you get a few years at the gym with proper diet the results will come i guarantee it and I've to say the best bulking food is steak.

Wish it wasn't so damn expensive. I love steak. Just can't affoard it on a regular. what's good websites for examples of Bulking diets. I currently am taking creatine,.and glutamine. I am taking syntha6 protein...in just the past four days I've uped my protein intake which I think is causing me to bloat. Any advise on that

at 17% body fat i would not recommend bulking at all. you need to continue dropping your body fat and continue building muscle

yeah its not easy.. if it was I wouldn't bust my ass everyday like i do. welcome to the party
