could someone define the term "lean bulk" for me

I just started a cycle of test e with 4 wks of d.bol 20mg ed. I of course want to put on some size but I dont want to loose what I've done with my mid-section. Love handles are almost completely gone, obliques & abs are certainly visible (no ripped 6 pac yet). Everyone says you're supposed to eat huge amounts of food, eat eat eat. I did that on my last cycle & I put on size, gained 18 lbs but I didn't like my waist section. I felt like a stuffed hog all the time...didn't like it. Will it "greatly" limit my growth if I don't eat massive amounts of food? Is a "lean bulk" what I'm wanting to accomplish? Hope my question makes since lol, thanks!

Yes, your correct...

that eat eat eat b.s. is used around way to much.. you need to determine your kcal needs and eating according, if not you will get fat...

Lean bulking- adding lean muscle mass without fat gain or minimum fat gain...

the key for me personally is adding in cardio 4-5 times a week pwo for 30 mins

30 minutes of cardio 5x/week while bulking is not a really good idea..you'd be more beneficial to adjust the cals a bit rather than to chew away at your gains, at least imo.

I like the 5 sessions of cardio but not post workout, i would do it first thing in the morning. Out of bed have a protein water shake, 30 minutes fast walk around the block, do that 5-6 morning per week, then you can eat 5000kcal and keep the bodyfat at bay.

Also i work on the lines of only 2 cheat meals per week and make the last two meals low carbs. i.e. 8-00pm Chicken and peanut butter, then 10pm double water protein shake.

Hope that helps, good luck

It looks like its definitley workin for ya bro.
I appreciate the responses, I'll do at least 3 cardio sessions a wk, 20-30 min. as well as ab work. I'm going to continue to eat the right foods but I'm not going to constantly eat like I did last cycle & see how that works for me. Thanks again!

I'm not sure if they're accurate, but you could get a calorie counter heart rate watch and estimate your daily calorie requirement based on this. i bought one today, and am trying to lean bulk, so will be interested to see what it says.

cardio 3 times a week 30 mins is fine .. 5 times is a little 2 much for me anyways
