circuit training

i've been reading about circuit training. first of all i'm not a cardio person. i just can't do it. it seems to me that circuit training will help to drop fat more than just regular lifting. here's what i'm thinking...

reps exercise

12 leg ext.
12 cable crossover
12 pressdowns
12 standing cable curls
12 lying leg curl
25 crunches on decline bench
12 seated cable rows
20 BB shurgs on smith machine
50 jumping jacks
12 upright rows w/ EZ bar

i'll do this 3 x's in a row w/ about 30 seconds in between sets (or however long it takes to switch weights....i workout at home) 3 x's per week.
since it's non stop working and my heart rate will be going steady won't it be better for burning fat than heavier lifting w/ long breaks in b/w sets?
but, even if it it is better for fat burning will i lose any muscle? 3 sets per muscle doesn't seem like enough to keep muscle to me?? anybody?

I am not a HUGE advocate of circuit training but I will say that it can be great for fat-loss. Combining your cardio and your workout can really burn off a hell of a lotta calories. :D

Mate circuit training is better if you use more multijoint multimuscle exercises such as squats and push ups. Drop things like cable crossovers, if your goal is fat loss.

i was just trying to use things that would be quick to set up. i only have 300 lbs of weight at my house and i didn't want to take too much time changing weights in b/w sets
