>players will be Canadian

They're expats. Meaning they're pretty much full-blown Americans in every sense of the word. With american wives and kids.

It's similar to baseball. With 50% of the players being mexican, puerto rican and domican republican. Whether they're "american" depends on who you ask.

So what, they live there, they are still proud Canadians and not full blown Americans.

Don't believe me, in thier own words anyone of them would kill for the chance to wear the Maple Leaf on thier chest in the Oly's or World Championships or the World Cup.

Perhaps. But you have to set patriotism aside and let Tampa Bay fans have their time in the spotlight. It's *their* team and they *won* it loud and proud.

Ummm yea, if you have read most of my posts you could see that is done countless times already. Never denied them that.

I only addressed in my last post your point that you said they were mostly American now and all I said is they live there but are still Canucks.

>all I said is they live there but are still Canucks.

Now if they could only get rid of that damn liberal hippie socialist cater to every crybaby and tax you to death government! Did the election happen yet?

first russian goalie to win the cup, hard to believe

No kidding, hard to believe it took this long!

They will go crazy when he takes that cup back home as they love him there. I have always said he was one of the top 5 goalies in the world come crunch time, he just never played in markets where he got lots of exposure and he played on weak teams in the past.

I thought it was nuts when he wasn't starting for awhile!

One of the few Jets that I would still follow as he was/is a class act!

yea him and St. Louis would just play at a different level when they played games there. They are like gods there now probably!
