So...last night I'm sitting in bed eating my ANPB and on comes a commercial where all these people in a room are jumping up and down and falling to the floor in exhaustion one by one. The camera goes to the front of the room and THERE YOU WERE (Energizer bunny) - instructing aerobics!!!! I had to laugh out loud! My fiance thought I was nuts!!!! LOL

Don't know if you've seen that one, but I just saw it last night for the first time.

:) The funny thing is, on the wall of the sales center the association was taking pics of the new home owners 'pointing' to their new home (the have maps of the areas in the showroom b/c it's pretty big area). I saw quite a few people I already know, BUT I swear to gawd his pic was up there with his wife (i think) ... only is was a version of him 60 lbs (minimum) heavier.

My pops LOVED that one :)

Oh boy, I just CAN'T get the water thing down. I'm doing GREAT just to get a gallon down. I'm in the bathroom CONSTANTLY the way it is. How do you do it?

For me: It was hard at first - but I found that it was easier to drink more water if it was on ice + I used a straw + a big cup.

After my body got used to all the water - after a few months - I don't pee as much as when I first started.

Also adding Crystal Light helps. Like I'll drink 1/2 gallon Crystal Light + 1 gallon plain water.

Re: *Bunny* 2005 Log

Maybe I should set reminders on my computer and drink a 1/2 liter each time (can't get a liter down all at once). I love CL. I've dropped my Diet Cherry Coke :( trying to get the water in. (sorry for the hijack!)

You can thread jack me anytime SG, I keep this Log for you as well as me too :)

In the beginning days of my project, I remember I pounded too much water, obviously my body wasn't use to it just yet... I seriously was 10-11 lbs heavier and bloated and I PM'd Vel like "OMFG what happened..." proceeded to freak out...

Being my fellow water goddess, she explained to me how that scale was was possible, that is water, not fat or anything ELSE I was worried about

Silly Rabbit :p

SO over the next few hours, later that evening and by the end of the next day I had shed ALL of that weight...in ONE day. This was the day I made my own personal promise to not let that number define me on my journey to a fitter lifestyle. :D

But I agree with Jens on the ice/straw/slowly increasing it... I LOVE ice cold crisp water (only certain botttled brands or reverse osmosis'd :) - I never drink tap, does anybody these days? :worried: )

I buy the liter bottles of Evian or Dasani, but then when they're empty I fill them back up with RO water (we have one installed at home). I can't imagine drinking tap water anymore either. Well, I've almost go a liter down today. Well see how it goes. You know the old saying.....More water in, more water out! Keep on chuggin'! :drink2:

Story time...
At the gym the other day, one of the trainers, One I acutally think is a nice person, was talking to Mr. B. So I walk over and I'm like "SO whatcha talking about?"

Mr. B "Oh just how he disagrees with your approach to dieting" i.e. more Protein than carbs etc. :D
Which is totally fine... everyone method is person specific, etc what have you... the thing that got me was he looked at me like I was speaking alien when I was talking about women's Test levels...

LOL

i.e. He thought women do not produce any test at all what so ever, that is a male hormone...etc

I'm like Google it and read up buddy :)

Silly :D

I DO!!! :jarswim:

:D

It's even more on a cheat/reward day too, also with meals containing higher sodium than usual (i.e. if I dine out for a mexican or chinese esp. )

Aww thank you very much for the compliment but everyone knows it's not from the water :)

I drink more than the norm for many reasons (particularly related to my personal health & kidney issues) but I CANNOT TELL YOU how many times 'wannabe doctors' tell me that I'm going to
- drown myself,
- I'm overhydrating and
- I should worry about Hyponatremia ( low blood sodium)

By wannabe I mean, those yo-yo dieters, "I can't lift heavy I don't want to get bulky", "whoa I can't eat that too many carbs", "You're eating again?" type of people, etc.

So I find it easier to share knowledge and leave it to them to accept it, reject it or learn about it. ;)

His body was amazing !! And it's nice to know that it is just not us regular folks ;) that have a hard time sticking to the training and diet.

I read an article about him , and the interviewer asked about his training and so forth that he did for Blade III (that got him those abs) , and asked if he had been keeping up with it. He laughed and said his manager had asked him the same thing at meeting they had a few months after filming and he replied by lifting up his shirt , and said his manager just screamed "NOOOOO" and shed a tear :) ;)

Re: *Bunny* 2005 Log

That was my Digestive Enzyme brand of choice for years...my sister still takes it. Its a great one!

I started one that adds Ox Bile in it, which enhances the fat digesting activity and absorption of vitamin A, D, E and K (along with better "elimination")...and HCL Acid for better digestive pH.

:)

Things are fabulous with the new place :)

Just spent the last 2 hours putting together a dresser :artist:

Things at work will only get more and more stressful and busy as the new year approaches... then cool down end of Jan, Like last year.

I joined another gym very close to my new place so hopefully I'll be able to get in there SOON!!!

If you are wondering, my life is still work work work, should be ALMOST finished with the 'move' by the end of the month and eager to hit the weights. Diet is ok, still eating whatever I want and still smiling as often as I can. Haven''t gone near a scale or tape measure or calipers in at least 8 weeks (I think).

'Healthwise' - I'll find out the beginning of December but everything seems as good as an be expected.

Just wanted to drop in to say hello and hope everyone is doing great.
Surprised my thread is on the 1st page still lol.

Ba-da-bump :)

Gotta go to sleep - xoxoxox

In all honesty, I am really in a rut (diet and training wise, life is great otherwise) But with Training being such a huge part of my life, with that missing, I know a few of you can wonder how I'm still sane... or am i ;)

... I cannot really elaborate on it but I'm on a mission to get out of it ... Still not enough time to accurately formulate my thoughts.

I guess it leaves another op to post some pics soon... new before and afters lol :)
