Spatts - no I didn't get that e-mail!! Could you try sending them again?
I sorta figured I needed my front delts to toughen up - since I'm intending to learn the entire olympic lifts - although I was kinda wondering how I was going to get callouses there!!! But I hadn't considered that doing the full clean & jerk - I don't have the bar racked for as LONG as a set of front squats.
- perhaps I'll talk to my coach about that nifty item. Although I probably should continue to do the front squats in the clean grip, rather than that cross arm grip - so maybe that's not gonna work.
Actually I did them again today & it wasn't that bad. I'm not moving lots of weight (yet), so I should be able to get used to it.
