breaking in a new shirt?

as i prepare for my bench meet on sep. 28, i need to learn some stuff.
how much work should i do in the shirt? what kinda work?(speed, board, etc?) how often should i train in it?

i will be using an inzer high performance blast
 
polys are much easier to learn to use then denims. unfortunately, they lose their pop a whole lot quicker too.

you dont have a lot of time before the meet, and you DONT want to do a bunch of full ME work 2 - 3 weeks in a row.

Someone (i think benchmonster) suggested a 4, 3, 2, 1 board press for ME day. You could do a 4 then a 3 one day and a 2 and a 1 the next ME day. If this seems to give you a reasonable fit int he shirt, hang it up and wait for meet day, otherwise you can wash it and dry it for a little extra snugness.

again, don't overtrain with it.

wait, i dont understand now..

i do a 4 board max and a 3 board max one day then a 2 board max and one board max the next day? is the 1 board gonna be my opener then or what?
 
assuming wednesday is your max effort day

week of 7th: 4 board no shirt, 3 board, shirt
week of 14th 3 board no shirt, 2 board, shirt
week of 21st 1 board no shirt, no boards (shirt) --- work up to opener only
week of meet: GO FOR IT


I don't know... i dont have the best luck with shirts. i forgot that you have a poly... much less to go wrong on a poly other than it being way to big.

minimize the amount of work you do in it... do 1 or 2 sets per day at most.....

thanks again...the only thing im worried about is going too heavy on the week of the 21st trying to find my opener. so its just a heavy single, right?

bench, got any more info or ideas?
 
alright, one more question. i promise...on my next ME day i do a 4 board max then a 3 board max? then the next week it's 2 board max and then a 1 board max or is it just every day i see what it takes to touch the certain board? or do i do the first one ME and just see what touches on the next board?
