I finished off my pot of chili tonight. I'll either have to make another tomorrow, or maybe bake a lasagna. I haven't made lasagna in years, hope I can still find my mom's old recipe.

Yesterday was a good day betting so I'll hit everyone once I get to work! :)

You guys, it is so cold here. -35c again this morning. I'm procrastinating leaving. It's that time of year where the cold just takes it all out of you too. It's been winter since October. I'm done with it! Once my son is done high school and settled in where ever he will be...I'm out of here! On to warmer climates!! :)

Last night when I went to bed my throat and soft palate were on fire. I was fully expecting to wake up to find myself involved in a big head & chest cold. Instead, my throat and soft palate are fine, and all I've got is a bit of a lingering cough. Who knows, maybe my immune system is actually doing its job?

nice self diagnosis. i was gonna say you should have had a tonsillectomy as a kid but remembered how protective you are of the prepuce thing so let's not go there.

I dunno why my parents didn't have my tonsils taken out when I was a kid, I used to get tonsilitis every year like clockwork. Guess it stopped after puberty. My brother had his out when he was 6 or 7.
 
so almost threw down on an NFL layer tonight, but he showed real composure, his GF took accept ion to me making a statement that she overheard wrongly...

She then proceeded to back talk and I left my table to say hello... afterwards she was very embarrassed and apologized profusely... proves once again, you can take the trash out of the neighborhood, but you can't fix stupid..

I'm glad it turned out ok cause he was much bigger than me and i'd of had to shoot him to get him off me..

It also proves that racism is significant in those of color, and in many cases justified.. but in this case restraint and communication avoided a significant lawsuit and a shooting..

Oh I know!! I keep visuals like that around to remind of beach weather but it's not working so well lately. It's been a long, cold winter. I'm out in Vancouver for a couple days and it's great to be near the water but still not so warm yet.
 
I'm running stairs this morning....a fun Saturday morning activity! I might video it so you can all feel my pain! LOL
 
Just woke up. Don't wanna move. Still tired.

Thunderstorm last night set off the restaurant down the street's alarm, took them 45 minutes to get it reset and silenced.
