I did run a search, but the posts about those 2 things are people talking about them, not asking what they are. Sorry if i inconvenience anyone. Anyhow, I'm still curious if anyone has time to post :)

Forgive me.

A three board press is just like a bench press, except you place the 3 stack 2 x 4's on top of your chest. When you unrack the weight lower the bar until it touches these boards, then return to the top position. This is good for the upper lock out portion of the bench press. Typically, you have a spotter who watches you from behind and another person who places the 3 boards on the chest.

Here is a link to a powerlifters training journal. I believe he perform some board presses. Just browse through the links.

Depth jumps are explosive jumps onto an elevated box of a given height, usually somewhere between 12"-36". This builds explosive strength in the legs and is a fundamental excercise for every plyometric routine. Sometimes a series of "depth jump boxes" of different heights are placed in a row (shortest to tallest). After explosively jumping onto the first box, jump down and IMMEDIATELY jump onto the next box. Repeat this on all boxes. Watch your shins though b/c if you miss they will bleed.
