Ok i have to admit i am a big fan of this show! They work their asses off and look great when its all over. I cant ever remember losing 30lbs in 2 weeks! But it seems to good to be true!

At one point or another they all have to get surgery rite? Even if they don’t get lypo or gastric or whatever, its impossible near impossible to lose 75lbs-150lbs and not have a few pounds of loose skin.

Guess im just wondering if people think this is for real or are most of these people losing a few pounds and going under the knife?

while at the ranch...no. what happens after that....who knows. i know people that are overweight with no cellulite or cottage cheese look (sorry for the image but had no clue what else to call it lol) and then i know girls with 6 packs who go to the gym that have some on their ass....it all depends on the individual i think.

The after results are so amazing, you would think there was foulplay in it somewhere. I mean shit they all look so good after they are off the ranch, its hard to swallow!

i lost 75lbs in 11 months...lots of skin...its disgusting..so id bet they had some sort of adominaplasty

i do believe the skin will eventually fix itself..i dont know how long it would take if it was extremely stretched. plastic surgery is probably the best option if you drop a relaly significant amount of weight and watn to get rid of the loose skin..

losing 30lbs in 2 weeks isn't the best thing, though..

^^ agreed to the extent that diet will work wonders. May take 6 months or 6 years, you didnt get like that over night you cannot expect skin to tighten that quick. Stretch marks though, those may remain although the may fade some.

I was just thinking about this show and wondered if they couldnt start doing weekly bodyfat test instead of all the scale. With all that activity they HAVE to be losing quite a bit of water, muscle then fat.

When they get to the real world 2 lbs a week isnt good enough for them so the transition is brutal. Heck for us 1 lb is sufficient and considered doable, while hard for others.

I know a person going under the knife to get a complete body lift after a weight loss totally so far over 100 lbs. After dropping the weight it could also be such an uncomfortable feeling & look to see the extra skin you just want it gone, hence the urgency. I think the recovery period is about 6 months or so for this individual situation, maybe longer when it comes to more skin.

I dont know how much time laspe happens from when they are off the ranch but it could be possible sure.

Last season I was addicted to this show. I watched one epi this season and the one guy that already lost over 200 lbs? dang... I wanted to smack the girl that cried b/c she lost 2 lbs .. then realized she didnt know any better ... yet

I just plan on re-filling the stretched skin. The skin will eventually go back over time, the younger you are I think the faster it goes back I think. I thought body firming lotion might help it go back to your body faster but I really can't find the truth about it.

I'm just going to re-fill my skin with muscle. Work the hell out of my whole back and be brutal to my core, if it doesn't go back in half a year to a year, I'll have it filled out in about a year and a half with muscle gains. It isn't something you do till you hit your goal weight, this seems it has to be a life time thing.

holy shit! that is amazing....good for him! i'm pulling for the big guy from new york to win....shocker lol

Well he didnt walk away with $250k, but i bet you he's not complaining. Anyway i heard he has been offerd a couple gigs as an underwear model, he did say that was one of his biggest goals in life :rainbow:
