hi...

need advice here....

I'm 5'6, 130...have nicely defined arms, shoulders, back, ...abs are getting there....

This year I would like to lose about 8-10 lbs of BF...but most important...my lower body to catch up to my upper body! Especially the butt...

I run or bike for cardio. I do squats, steps, and all the machines. ...and I can see a difference in the past few months...

what are the best butt toners you all know of? I spend alot of time at the gym, however I think if I knew exactly the best things to do, I would get better results....in less time...

thanks so much..

Squats are the best thing to do! & of course the other 'classics': Dead Lifts & walking lunges. Do you mix up your squats with taking a wider stance, almost like a plie?

I read in 'Muscle & Fitness Hers' a glute workout from Carla Sanchez. It included Glute Lifts on the cable machine. Strap that velcro thing to your ankle, face the cable & lift that leg, slight forward flexion from the hip (bend over a bit at the hip). You might be able to find it on their web site.

There's always that donkey-kick glute machine, but I'm just not partial to machines personally.

thank you people...

yes I know you can't just "lose fat" from exercises..I just want to make sure I'm working the muscle the best way possible...I guess i didnt mean "toning" persay, I meant "strengthening"...

my diet is very good...fortunately for me, fattening foods make my stomach very upset...so if i cheat..I pay for it!!!
