I don't see the rewarding part. Kids seem like suck ungrateful difficult fucks, even the cool ones. Not trying to berate the parental types here, but I just don't get it.

Kids are a horrible investment. You dump money into this thing for 18 years, possibly more than 18 years, lots and lots of money. As soon as it starts making money it leaves and you never see any of it. Sounds more like a scam than anything.

I thought the same thing until I had my own. You learn a lot about yourself as a parent and it makes you realize they become what you help them become, to a degree. So all of those shitty little fucks throwing tantrums in the store, amusement park, etc are basically their shitty parents.
