Basketball starts soon...

Allright,
thanks for all the info guys.

I'm thinking of doing:

Barbell Bench Press
Incline Dumbell Press
Wide Grip Pullups
Rows
Squats
Back Extensions (i can't get my deadlift form right)

Anything else? I'm afraid that my tris and bis aren't getting worked enough. Also, how many sets/reps. (I'm currently doing the 5x5 system)

I'll be careful about overtraining..

Here's what i'll try:
(all 2 sets of 6)

1) Flat Barbell Bench Press
2) Incline Dumbell Bench Press
3) Overhead Dumbell Press
4) Squats
5) Wide Grip Pullups
6) Back Extensions
7) Shoulder Shrugs??

Am I missing anything?

I don't see the point in doing 2 chest exercises
If you must ahve 2 chest exercises add flyes then, that's like a rebounding motion.

No point in doing wide grip pullups - just keep em shoulder width, and its more BBall like too - ie grabing boards, hanging on the rim :)

Need ab work! SMith ball weight crunches, hanging leg raises, and cable pulley high to low wood chops

I would still like to make some type of gains...

DONT strength train in the season if you want to do your best. wait till off season work on sport specific movements and the game in general

calves
in the season stand on a step on one foot (with weight if needed) dotn hold on to anythnig and do calve raises. if you fall or a bout to fall grap the railing. this is better for balance then the calve machines
