Badger's Peak Week Plan

I am officially two weeks out today! I'm getting the plans for the final week together, and I wanted to post it up for comments and suggestions. I've been cycling my carbs...3 days at 100g, 2 days no carb...I'll continue this until Monday. Then I'm going to jack my carbs up a bit for the week before carb depletion. So..

Mon.- Sat: 125g carbs a day ..train as usual, but no legs

The final week will be a fairly simple carb deplete/ water load, carb load/ water deplete, and will look like this:

Sun: No carb, 2 gal water, cardio and push workout

Mon: No carb, 2 gal water, cardio and pull workout

Tues: No carb, 2 gal water, cardio and push workout

Wed: No carb, 1 gal water, cardio and pull workout

Thurs: Start carb load at 250g carbs/ day, 1/2 gal water, no cardio or weight

Fri: 250 carbs, 1/4 gal water..(stop drinking in the evening), no workout

Sat: contest day...a little confused about when to have carbs and what they should be...I was thinking of these Dr. Stein energy bars and honey??

I'll include broccoli up until Wednesday...fats will come from flax seeds and flax oil.

Also..I'm going to use Xpel. When should I start that? I was thinking on Sunday when I start the carb depletion??

Any feedback is appreciated ;)

Use Xpel just like it says on the bottle - its a 5 day treatment instead of the 10 day Taraxatone. I'd probably run it Mon - Fri, stop on Friday. Its one less pill to pop by Saturday.

Your carb / water regimen is pretty standard & should work fine. Did you get that schedule from your trainer? If yes, then I'd hit him for the specific details on the Saturday eating schedule. My only comment w/ whatever these energy bars are - if they introduce somethign into your diet that maybe you can't digest (or haven't digested recently) they might mess you up (e.g. bloat or get backed up). I'd just look at the ingredients if they are fairly inert.

Thanks Jens and Sass.
I'm actually gonna go with rice cakes instead of the bars...avoid the whole bloat thing.

As Sassy said - watch what you eat on THE day if you haven't been eating it all along.....

I ate peanut butter on show day & I puffed up like a blowfish.....
