Went out of town over the weekend to see my brother. I packed all my food, and stuck strictly to the diet. :verygood: Yay for me!

I enjoyed my carbs this weekend. Tomorrow= no carbs again. :bawling:

No carbs today

12:30: Shake (1 scoop whey+ 1 tbsp anpb)
2:45: 1 cup green beans, chk breast
5:45: 1 oz almonds, 6 egg whites
9:00: chk breast

10:00: Chest

the arm thing started giving me trouble again, so I had to take it easy

7:30: approx. 30 steamed shrimp

I went back a couple of pages to catch up and saw the lying hack.....that was one of my favorites and this gym doesn't have one :(

....I'm jealous!
 
I just want to let you ladies know that I've decided to compete. I've been thinking about it this whole time I've been dieting, and I finally decided....what the hell? :whatever:

The show I picked is July 8th. So, I have 8 weeks to be comp ready. Not much time, but I think I can be ready then. It's a pretty competitive show, but the timing is on and it's the closest to me. Plus, I figure I will get the best learning experience from competing against the best. I'm going to be competing in the bb class...I'll be lightweight.

I'd really appreciate tips, critiques and everything, especially from those that have done a show. The only people I have helping me at home are guys, which kind of sucks... but I don't know any females that compete.

I'll post new pics soon....

The no carb days haven't been too bad yet. I think knowing that I carb up is coming soon really helps me mentally. There's no way I could do more than a few days of it, though. I'm excited to see what kind of results the carb cycling brings me.
I like the lying hack squat a lot too. Especially since I'm trying to do higher rep exercises, things like the leg press and squats don't really work as well.

Hey Sass! I'll be competing in the BB division. It's funny cuz I was looking at pics from last year's show, and there's not a whole lot of difference between some of the figure and BB girls' physiques. But the girls that actually placed in the figure division obviously had less muscle.

I haven't found a suit yet. I'm going to check out some of the links in the competition sticky. $ is a bit of an issue, so that's really gonna dictate what I end up with. Any suggestions on styles?
