Baby on the way

I don't remember for sure...I think she was like 98-102 lbs when she got preggers...at full term I think she may have got to 130ish...I'll ask her tonight and let ya know, but I think it was something like that.

On a side note...I actually gained weight right along with her...(sympathy weight) I think I put on 20lbs or so throughout her pregnancy too. lol

lol awwwww.

I hate to bust everybody's bubble here but I never gained more than 40 pounds with any of my 4 pregnancies. I nursed all of my children and STILL I couldn't get back into prepregnancy clothing until 6/7 months at the earliest - up to a year with subsequent pregnancies as I just wasn't up to "killing myself" to get into a smaller clothing size anymore. I had to take care of children. a household and a business pretty much by myself and just lacked the energy after the first time I did it. I cringed everytime I watched the "bringing first baby home from the hospital" and can hear my exmother-in-law saying with shock, "Wow, BIKINIMOM you STILL LOOK 5 MONTHS PREGNANT." I wanted to slap her, but I used restraint as her daughters were both cows and sadly the woman ate herself to death (no joke she weighed well over 400 pounds).

Interestingly enough, I got smaller after each baby. I went from a clothing size 6 to a 4 to a 2 to a 0 to a double zero (because I became very ill).

I think you guys have all seen my before baby and after baby pics, right?

Pregnancy and post partum are extremely short periods of time in comparison to the rest of our adults lives. However, eating for two DOES NOT = EATING TWICE AS MUCH. If you follow the guidelines of basic healthy food, eat what you want when you're hungry and stop when you are full, move about as much as you feel well enough to do and resume physical activity after your doc gives you the OK then you WILL BE FINE! :)

Oh, God! I remember my post partum depression. That was not easy to deal with..

yikes! - what about stretch marks. Did anyone have problems with those on their bellies? Ways to prevent this?

I dont mind wearing a one piece suit - but i do not want any on my breasts. At least I want to try my best to prevent them anyway
