I forgot to mention a detail. The cortizone cream should be applied twice a day consistently in order to work. Once the scar is healed, use it daily for as long as you need. I believe I used it for 4 months or so..

Wait. So I can start applying the cortizone as soon as the bandages are removed? I don't have to wait until it heals to start? I know some of the other creams you get you can't apply until the wound closes.

You do have to wait till it closes, but it happens pretty quickly. Depending on how healthy you are, and I'm assuming you are. I heal very quickly, so it didn't take long before I started. You'd know when..
