If you train in a half-assed manner you will do better with steroids than without. That's the problem. Too many people let the drugs do everything, so when they don't get the results they want, they up the dosages instead of busting their ass in the gym.
I really have to disagree. I have done 2 cycles of AAS myself. I got no gains from them. (Unless you count acne.) Reason? My training and diet were not up to par.
I have since been clean for over a year taking the time to re-evaluate my training and diet. In that year, I gained 10lbs, my arms gained a 1/2in, and all lifts have increased dramatically.
I made a bad choice and tried AAS before I was ready. I learned my lesson. Will I try it again? Most likely. But not until I have taken the advice of very experienced lifters on this board and proved I can make gains WITHOUT AAS! If you can't make gains without it, you won't make any with it.
AAS DOES NOT MAKE IT EASIER. It adds that little something extra when you have already reached your genetic potential.
