AS users, opinion of natural bodybuilders

Jeremy,
Creatine and protein are things you would eat naturally in your diet. Creatine comes from nuts, and red meat among other sources, and protein... well.. im sure you can name a million places it comes from...
When was the last time you got some Dbol from eating a chunk of chicken? Sure, there is definitely hormones in it from the farmer but those animals never would have had it in them naturally...

Natural and AAS assisted both require hard work, determination, proper diet and training techniques to be successful.
Don't let anyone tell you that people who use AAS don't have to train as hard to get the results that they have.

neddsize got it right.

The problem is, people want to pigeonhole. If you're a steroid user, you must be big and ripped. Not true. What if someone has a couple of drinks on Saturady night. Is he a drinker in the same catagory as a daily drinker? What if someone smokes a cigerette once in a while. Is he a smoker? But our society doesn't recognize moderation. Drinkers are drunks and smokers are chain smokers and steroid users are all roid raged monsters. It's a stereotype.

It's true that too many guys go straight to the juice and never learn how to be good bodybuilders. Some of the recomendations for fist time users I see on this board are beyond absurd. That proves these guys don't really know how to train.

Having said that, steroids work, so they're difficult to ignore.

It all comes down to balance and good sense -- something which can not be mandated and is rarely applied.

yes, creatine and protein come naturally in foods. but when a person goes out and buys a bunch to scoop out and supplement with, they're not completely natural.

in my opinion, there arent really any successful bodybuilders that are COMPLETELY 'natural'

THANK YOU. It really annoys me when people think gear makes it easy. Gear allows me to train harder and put more stress on my body, so I push myself to extreme levels when "on", easy my ass...

Its a personal choice. . . its as simple as that. I am more concerned about the gains I make, so I could careless what other people are involved in.

Actually, steroids do make it easier.

If you train in a half-assed manner you will do better with steroids than without. That's the problem. Too many people let the drugs do everything, so when they don't get the results they want, they up the dosages instead of busting their ass in the gym.
