I have huge respect for B and any one else that has his attitude and drive, but even with the "mental genetics" you cant get to that level naturally without physical ones too.
Since I was 5 years old I became obsessed with having a build like Arnold or Lou. I started training in early high school at 140lbs soaking wet with oil. Over the next ten years I obsessed completely with achieving that goal, NEVER missing a workout, meal, or chance to try a new supplement or routine. At about the 6 year mark I hit a wall around 200lbs, and for the next few years I tried everything to keep my body growing but my strength and size were frozen (I was capable of a raw 550lb dead and raw 495lb squat at the time). After 3 years of this I had to admit that I had hit the genetic limit for natural training, under no circumstances was my body going to let me get any bigger.
At this point I made the decision to research anabolics so I could continue towards my goals. I did my first cycle a year ago, and have now done a total of 3, pushing me up to a fairly lean 230lbs at 5'9". Mental Genetics....I have not missed a scheduled workout in over 5 years, not for any reason. I will drop whatever I am doing if it's time for me to eat. I first fell in love with my wife when she made it clear that she supported my goals and would NEVER interfere with what I needed to do to get there. I spend any spare time I have researching other ways for me to continue my growth. When I train, especially when I'm "on", my workouts are so intense that my whole gym tends to think there is something wrong with me and I'm lucky to stagger my ass out of the gym when I'm done....
Mental Genetics, I'd say I have them, but it's not always enough!!
