AS users, opinion of natural bodybuilders

I have huge respect for B and any one else that has his attitude and drive, but even with the "mental genetics" you cant get to that level naturally without physical ones too.

Since I was 5 years old I became obsessed with having a build like Arnold or Lou. I started training in early high school at 140lbs soaking wet with oil. Over the next ten years I obsessed completely with achieving that goal, NEVER missing a workout, meal, or chance to try a new supplement or routine. At about the 6 year mark I hit a wall around 200lbs, and for the next few years I tried everything to keep my body growing but my strength and size were frozen (I was capable of a raw 550lb dead and raw 495lb squat at the time). After 3 years of this I had to admit that I had hit the genetic limit for natural training, under no circumstances was my body going to let me get any bigger.

At this point I made the decision to research anabolics so I could continue towards my goals. I did my first cycle a year ago, and have now done a total of 3, pushing me up to a fairly lean 230lbs at 5'9". Mental Genetics....I have not missed a scheduled workout in over 5 years, not for any reason. I will drop whatever I am doing if it's time for me to eat. I first fell in love with my wife when she made it clear that she supported my goals and would NEVER interfere with what I needed to do to get there. I spend any spare time I have researching other ways for me to continue my growth. When I train, especially when I'm "on", my workouts are so intense that my whole gym tends to think there is something wrong with me and I'm lucky to stagger my ass out of the gym when I'm done....

Mental Genetics, I'd say I have them, but it's not always enough!!

Actually, in Mexico that is exactly true. Just walk into a pharmacy and pick up exactly what you need. I don't know about europe but have heard there are places there that is similar. Just walk in tell them what you need and they sell it to you right there. Nothing illegal about it there so no need to be sneaky.

Thank God our government is protecting us from ourselves, huh?

Are you aware that not everyone wants to be 290lbs?

That shit may impress the guys at the squat rack but most everyone else thinks it's stupid.

Frank Zane juiced and won the Olympia at 180 pounds. Ask 100 women which body they prefer -- Frank Zane or Markus Ruhl. I'll bet you at least 90 of them will say Zane
What the hell makes you think that all lifters give a crap about what others think about them?

I'm engaged to a kickass girl that loves my body, so I could give a shit about what women think. Not all of us are so insecure that our reasons for lifting are for other people.

Why would I care what other guys think? I'm not gay. I have a nice car because I like to drive really f'ing fast, not so other people I don't care about can look at it. I lift heavy and train hard because I like to overcome my own challenges and impress myself, not so other people can be impressed by me. The only one's I lift to impress are the weights when I dominate them, and Sir Isaac Newton when I make him second guess his theories on gravity.

I'm no real hardcore bodybuilder or anything.... but most of my life I looked down on people who used steroids. Mainly because society says it's bad.... then I asked myself "Why is it bad?" You still have to work as hard in the gym, you still have to be as strict and discplined with your routine, diet and rest.... it doesn't make things any easier, just enhances the results.

And I didn't like it because it was illegal. But why is it illegal? Creatine is illegal in some countries where steroids are legal. It's all very silly.... there's much more dangerous things that are perfectly legal.

I still won't use steroids myself.... because of money, because I'm scared of side-effects and because being absolutely huge and shredded isn't all that important to me. But now I've turned around and don't think badly of users anymore....

Joker: What the hell are you talking about? That post was intended for the guy who said he didn't care about how women percieved him. You're acting like it's a personal attack toward you.

>>Pay attention genius, I was the one who said that.

First you make the ridiculous comment that AS don't work. Then you make an asinine accusation that I'm insecure about my size when I just said it's easier to get bigger with roids but I choose not to. Then you deny your first statment. Get your head out of your ass dude. Everone is entitled to an opinion but don't start shitting on people, especially when you haven't got a clue as to what you're saying.

>> Have you read anything I have written? Show my statement where I say "Gear does not work." I said I got nothing from the cycles I did, and I believe it was because of my poor training and diet. I also said that gear is not magic. Was I unclear when I wrote that?

just a side note here, think about the pro's that we all love from Bodybuilding and think about their countries that they are from.
Sergio Oliva - Cuba
Arnold - Germany
Franco Columbo - Italy
Samir Bantout - Lebanon
Dorian Yates - England
Markus Ruhl - Germany
Gunter Shlerkamp - Germany
Ernie Taylor - England
Lee Priest - Australia
Tommi Thordsval - Belgum( i think)
Orville Burk - Jamica
Dennis James - Thialand

If i lived outside of the US where it was legal and the government didnt say it was bad, your damn straight i would use the stuff.
