Entry Form

Willie and Dione Wessels are running this show. GREAT PEOPLE. Let's help them get a massive Missouri turn out !!

This is a combonation push/pull, 3 lift, and strongman competition.

Just wanted to mention that you can count on the Springfield crew being there - all lifting in the 3 lifts. - Also, DG21's brother should be lifting as well, and hopefully his workout partner.

It will be cool to see who gets the bigger deadlift - Dave or his brother - one thing's for sure - 750 is falling!

The Vanderbilt crew (Me) might be there. I'm looking to do a meet somewhere around that time, and if I dont find a good one a little bit closer, I might lift in St. Louis.

I am from the lou, and would love to watch, I dont think my pathetic 355 dead would have me entering, but where is it taking place?

It's at Eagle Gym, which is just a hop/skip/jump from Lambert. I can't say enough great things about Dione and Willie Wessles, as people and as directors. I have been to a couple of their NASS events, and they are almost TOO efficient. They also have a great group of guys that train out there, and some will probably be competing.

355 is nothing to sneeze at...go out there and get some experience, have a good time. :)

I think so, Zack. Not too huge, a wide variety of ages/weights/skill levels. Also, it's a very supportive group of people there. I think they could make just about anyone feel comfortable. I know they were more than generous with their time when I showed up asking for help with my squat. They spent hours with me. I think, because of the way those guys train, you will also see a mix of training styles, which could be a learning experience too.

Thanks, Spatts. I might try to make it to St. Louis then. It's about 4 hours away, though, so I may keep my eyes open for something a little closer.
