You can read header info to see servers but that does not always tell you who sent it or who the company is. You can do a whois ( google it, there are free services) to lookup up the originating domain to find out who owns the domain name. From the whois, you can track the company and ask to speak to IT Admin or other network type. They will stonewall you though to not give out personal info. If it is a free email then it is harder since yahoo etc won't tell you who owns an email account without a supoena and even then not everyone gives real info. Even with a domain, one could use a sendmail program to spoof any domain so you are back to the servers but one could find an iopen relay to mask their trail. It is tough to back track beyond server even if you get that far without supoena for records. You could always launch a massive denial of service attack using any of the many web documented methods to try to take the offending server down to teach them a lesson not to send you email.
